It works a treat over here, I just need someone to tell me how to get direct access to my Catweasle floppy drive, I have a ton of old games that crash my 1200. I would love to try them on this :D

thanks it works really smooth here on samflex, even changing the default resolution to 640x512 and scanline to double!

but I have a question, how to set a special config file for ADFs?

in fact copying and renaming a .uaerc_RunInUAE config as mentioned in the guide does not work for ADF files; suddenly double clicking on that specified ADF file doesn't start e-uae anymore.

e.g.:
1) double clic on turrican.adf starts ok

2) copy .uaerc_RunInUAE to ADFs/Turrican/turrican.adf.uaerc_RunInUAE

3) double clic on turrican.adf does not start the emulator

even after reset.

I guess I didn't explain it well enough in the manual - you should NOT copy .uaerc_RunInUAE for *ADFs* because that config is designed for Workbench. For ADFs you need to create an *empty* config file, only which holds the changes you want to make to the main .uaerc file (such as loading new disks).

Perhaps it would be less confusing if ADFs did *not* use FILENAME.uaerc_RunInUAE files, but used FILENAME.uaerc instead?

you did explain it well, I suppose I didn't explain myself well in my post.
Anyway, I tried the before mentioned procedure even if you said it should *not* be used like that, because I need a per game config file. I could not see any difference between a newly created file and the "#?RunInUAE".
Since it does not work I guess you are parsing the file for some comment in the file itself?

Yes, it may be less confusing if for ADFs FILENAME.uaerc is used instead.


edit: mmh..it does not work even if I create a new, empty file, either.

Try it on a sam flex with whdload (registred) games, but I've always got grimreaper

Thanks for the report. Looks like I did not test this last-minute addition well enough, because in that case RunInUAE fails to work when E-UAE is not already running. Will look at making a new release to fix this.

I've now found that per-game & per-drawer config files are NEVER used for ADFs .

I'm currently trying to get auto-loading of multi-disk games working, but there seems to be some obscure OS/E-UAE bug preventing it from working...
