AmigaAMP and OS4 Final

I also had problems with AmigaAMP locking up the system when exiting until I changed from WarpUp to autodetect which is using the mpega.library. What is the best library for AmigaAMP to use under OS4 Final?

I initially had a problem with AmigaAmp under OS4 Final, until I realised I was running an earlier version (v2.15) I downloaded the latest v2.17 and now all working OK.

I do use TuneNet; in fact, that's what I'm using now. But before the current, most stable version I was stuck using AmigaAMP a lot and I still have a fondness for it as well as a lot of playlists.

It was 2.17 that was giving me problems until I switched to autodetect. Now it works just fine. However none of this answers my original question: Is mpega.library the best one to use under OS4 Final? Is there no hope OS4 friendly version of a WarpUp library? I'd really like to have the Equalizer available even if I don't use it all that much.

Hi Valiant,

Me too, though regarding the AmigaAmp playlists you should be able to use these in TuneNet as well.

Just get rid of the #?.m3u pattern in the TuneNet Load Playlist requester and select an AmigaAmp playlist.

Cheers,
Bean.

AmigaAMP seems to run fine on my OS4 Final except for one niggle - it plays all MP3s at 10 times their proper speed. This happens whether I use mpega.library or the OS4-native external module.

Any ideas what may be causing this?

I used the mpega library. have you updated to the latest AmigaAmp with a new AOS4 decoding engine. AmigaAmp runs fine now.

I have problems whit a old bug in AmigaAMP, when you have enabled resize whit contents in GUI prefs, AmigaAMP playlist is not rendered when I resize the window.
