@nubechecorre Rogue said most likekly atleast 4gig of ram on the machine. They're using only 2gigs now. And poeple name dual core. Might it be an G5? They are dual core's,32 or 64bits. Has support for much ram.

@328gts ACube doesn't seem to be involved in MAP at all, so (sadly) I'm beginning to wonder if we will ever get a backplate. No idea what the hold-up is. I only hope that the price of this new MAP hardware actually prompts *more* (not less) people to buy Sam440s. It's a nice system, especially once we get all the software issues fixed.

no worries about our Sams now that the MAP is revealed..X1000 is the high end and Sams are low end...hehe I'm loving the low end baby
besides I knew 'they' would'nt leave Acube out in the cold after all they've done for us
ok NOW..where is our OS4.1 UPDATE and our backplates PLEEEASE

. Personally I would rather have OS4.1 update #1 than a backplate that I've managed without fine so far.

The backplate is only the dot over the i. I can live without it, but I want it anyway so I'll get a "complete" Sam mobo/case.
