Anyway i didn't find a CDB function. I barely use CD i was just trying. It would be nice if TuneNet could retrive tracks and albums over internet from CDDB.
The do work, sort of - just keep the right mouse button pressed and wait a little longer. I reported the very same bug for the program SoundFX years ago. The author could not find what the problem might be.
The problem is caused by the parent window. When using BOOPSI window.class and helphints, IDCMP_MENUVERIFY is enabled so that help hints do not interfere with intuition. When a child window is opened, the parent cannot reply to the IDCMP event, thus it stalls the menus until intuition gives up waiting.
The solution is to ensure that the parent window can either:
a) continue processing IDCMP events while the child is open, or
b) set the WA_BusyPointer attribute in the window.class object with SetAttrs() while the child is open, or
c) clear the IDCMP_MENUVERIFY bit while the child is open, and restore it after.

It support only audio over audio cable. So it is no use for Sam users with sata cables. TunesNet play the audio via software like any modern system... just lack the CDDB
Thanks for that great and stable and amazing update
I found a regression though The env-var TuneNet/Playing only works for the very first radio station title. Ringhio shows information whenever a title changes, but not the env-var.
That is only for radio titles, MP3 files and other sound files work
Glad most people are liking this version. I'm scanning most of the forums and posts making note of any issues. Thankfully there are more positives than issues at the moment (that's blown it I'm sure ), which is a relief!
Raziel, Chris - Issues noted - I'm preparing an update.

NOOOOOooooooooohhh
Tell them to go to OS4Depot's TuneNet bug tracker and post their bugs otherwise too much development time is lost (btw: do you still use this tracker to gather reports?)

It's stable, it's aweseome, it's still the best music app on OS4

Yay
Thanks a lot, Paul
ps: Have you had time to prepare a Skin crash guide yet?

Why should one play the data via software? Sounds like one hellova recourse hog to me, just encode them into something sensible with tags and play. If you still insist, the app doesn't now it plays cddb. In your situation, the audio is presented as regular files by the cd filsystem. PlayCD etc calculate the CD ID using track lengths on the media itself.
Anyway, TuneNet rocks here, I love the OSD display

Because sata cable don't have audio pins as far i know and we have enough cpu power to do that and barely notice it. This gives you also the ability to equalize audio with your players and many other advantage. It is the modern way to play CDs.
