Tested.
Recursive setting works fine for now.

But found one more bug (or bad feature). Run filer, then move the row-line of @Size@ closer to name of files. Then do any action (setprotect, update comments, information, etc), and after that, that @size row-line@ will jump back (As it was before you movie it closer to name of files). But imho, it must stay all the time as user setup it.

Just disable "Autofit columns" in prefs.

Thanks, works :)

For now i sorted out all that dest/source copy, and looks like very soon Dopus4 will get to trash , but what i really miss for now: browsing files inside the archives. For now every archive just spawn Unarc. Its of course better than nothing, but with browsing inside work will be much faster. Like you just come in one lister to archive, mark any files for, and copy to other one.

I see you have that in ToDo list, just dunno which priority you have for that.

ps. btw, when you set protect recursive for many dirs with many files inside, then it start to works like asyncrhonic (no busy-pointer), and you can scroll down/up, etc, but you cant go to any directory. Looks like 50% of asycnrhonic :)

Actually started doing that a while back, but got a bit bored. The OS4Depot 'module' could be seen as a precursor to it since it provides a few custom views. xadmaster support would also be a new view.

That sounds nice. Will wait for that browse-archive-xadmaster support. But even with the current beta version, i can already remove dopus4 from hdd.. Hope that for next update Filer will be integrated into workbech by default. That will be not so easy imho (as i can see, i can D&D To filer from wb, but cant copy FROM filer to WB ?).

ps. Also what i find, it#s that Delete are no in Popup window ? (that i think not bad, avoid some bad deletions)

the final version will be uploaded to os4depot.net right after the release of filer.

I have to say, I second kas1e's thoughts. I too hope for xad integration. Filer is great though, I rarely ever use dopus4 anymore as I've put the CX in startup and open lister with doubleclick on workbench. Very nice :)
