Workbench is only patched while RunInUAE is running, therefore I stopped E-UAE from being started when RunInUAE is started on it's own. If you want to have E-UAE running in the background, then you need to run RunInUAE twice!
The first time you double-click on a 68k program, RunInUAE will ask you whether you want to run it using E-UAE or not. After that it will remember your choice. If you want to change your choice, then simply drop the 68k program onto RunInUAE's window.
Due to the above changes, you can no-longer run programs or ADFs by dropping them onto RunInUAE's window. If you really need an alternative to double-clicking, then you can still drop programs & ADFs onto RunInUAE's icon in AmiDock.

Thanks for this release. It installed without any errors and didn't wipe out my WB3.1 dir. However, when I start it it gets to Timebase frequency and just hangs there. :-/

Yes it used to work and your earlier version also worked. I found the missing file libz.so.1 in my backup partition (OS4.1). I run 4.1u1 on SAM Flex 800 with 1gb ram radeon 9250.
I am getting further. Most HD isntalled games I have tried open the cli screen but hangs there (although I can input @ the prompt >.
Will try some adf games now. I am running e-uae 28 as you have previously suggested.
I think the reason many HD installed games don't run is because they're launched by scripts with project icons and RunInUAE seems to not support these yet. But I could be wrong.

If dropping the game icon onto RunInUAE's icon in AmiDock works, but double clicking it does not, then I think I have a solution for that.
However, if even dropping the game onto RunInUAE's icon does not work, then I'm not sure. I will look into this, as there may be a way around it.
So far RunInUAE has only been tested with 68k executables, not with scripts launched using project icons.
just tried it and I get the WB screen when trying to load any HD game (even transferred my old games from my 1200 with no luck)..if I drop adf's in AmiDock I usually get a 20% success rate...though this was the same on the previous release as well...
It says remote cli is not running. How do I make remote cli working ? If I'll try to run it directly with execute window it crashes. (I had to install fifo lib and handler first (68k from Aminet)).
Your installer added a new screen mode to my monitor tooltypes which f**ked up my Screens prefs settings. (Annoying issue of AOS.) Don't add any modes without asking the user ! (Btw. My lcd monitor doesn't support such low resolutions anyway.)

@all I have now made the second alpha release (please use link from the first post). Changes include:
* Added support for double-clicking IconX scripts, so virtually all 68k games should work now! (This is was quite hard to add, and is a bit of a kludge, but it seems to work fine for all the games I tested.)
* Now allows running 68k programs from the Ram Disk.
* No-longer adds a 320x240 screenmode to your monitor, without your permission.

Did it mean, that i can for now download lionheart.lha (hd-version), unpack, and just run it from os4 by pressing on icon ?

tried r3 but still same as above for me...now when I try to open a program from my real 1200 it tells me the program is not a 68k program
when I try to open a program from my real 1200 it tells me the program is not a 68k program
What tells you it is not a 68k program? RunInUAE?
I think you are trying to start it wrong: You must NOT drop the program on RunInUAE's window anymore. Instead you must double-click the program (OR drop it on RunInUAE's icon in the AmiDock).

Thanks !

Fixed that myself. (First I realized it must be run from classic side not from OS4 side. And then I found it was twice in classics User-startup so maybe the second run disabled it.)

yes that's what I'm doing. If I drag a game foler with ADF's in it ..the screen pops up saying its not 68k....this was game that would working before with R2....

I assume you tried starting it the right way now? And it works?

I didn't follow a word of what you said (no idea what "it" refers to). Can you please explain clearly (1) what you were trying to do that failed (e.g. double-click HD installed game), (2) exactly what the problem(s) you found, and (3) how you fixed it.
It sounds like the installer did something wrong for you, but at the moment I have no clue what
