Change the icon type of drawers to "project" and set the default tool to "Filer": from then on, any time you double-click on a drawer in WB, you'll get a Filer instance showing the contents of the drawer.
This is interesting, since this was something I used earlier for creating script applications within a drawer. Somewhere along the upgrades of 3.5 and 3.9 though, this stopped working, Workbench would treat an icon of a drawer as a drawer type icon, even when it was set as type "project". I assumed this was an "bugfix", but it has annoyed me. Seeing that this is possible in OS4 makes me wonder though, maybe it wasnt an intended "fix".

Maybe it can be explained this way: it was fixed in AOS 3.5/3.9, but Hyperion started from AOS 3.1...
@orgin OK, I finally tested v53.29 bug in v53.28, and it was there as well:
Go into some deep directory (doesn't need to be too deep), and then try left clicking very fast on the "Parent" button. After a few clicks (perhaps only two!) the whole machine locks-up, and have to hard reboot
Anyway, now that I know about this, I can try stability testing v53.29 again.
Cant reproduce that here .. (i just come to the Aiss4.7 image directory, where is 3500 files, then press faster on parent button and its works as must). Imho will be better if you just do that with debug.version, then after lockup c:dumpdebuginfo in a shell (but i think you know that) and send that to Orgin. Because looks like its happenes not on all setups (if i test it right).
@ChrisH If its hard reset button only (not poweron-poweroff), then it will (as i test before) survave. Just try, maybe some luck will here :)
@Orgin As we test with ChrisH now, for filetypes CD are not works ? I mean you just do CD RAM: or CD anything: and it not works (only internal $CD works for user-button, but i cant use it for filetypes).
So, the suggetsion: can you plese add support for CD for filetypes and, maybe you can also add support for the ";" separator (for making for example mounting of ISO + CD to new device works) ? Like you do: Quote:
c:MountDiskImage DEVICE ICD0: {f} ; cd icd0:
And Filer auto-mounting ISO and going by CD command to that new volume. For now can't find any solution to do that not by Filetypes, not by User-Buttons ..

@kas1e My case does not have a reset button... edit: OK, temporarily connected power button to the reset jumper on my Sam440 (a bit hairy while the power was on!), but it didn't keep the DebugBuffer contents.
BTW, I found that this "fast multi-click freeze" bug happens with both the "Parent" & "Root view" buttons, but none of the buttons others that I have. So I guess something to do with changing the list view before it has finished refreshing?
It's alerady done, check main options for the "D&D like WB".
@Orgin
Add plz "CD" for filetypes and ";" separator for user-button and tooltypes too :) Or any other symbol which will mean executing of one more command (that will expand a lot usage of that, ppls can make big scripts which can be used with Filer).
