Calling all fellow Amiga user group Chairmen/Women Amiga North Thames is embarking on a secret project, We can't do this all on our own, we need help from other UK amiga usergroups. If you want to take part, please contact me via PM on here. Details will be unveiled at a scheduled IRC session yet to be agreed. All I can reveal at the moment is that it is a major opportunity to further the cause of the Amiga platform and bring it more into the open to the general public. If you are interested, Please reply by Feb 28th. The IRC session will happen shortly after. Sorry to be too cryptic. Thanks. Mikey C

@Mikey_C I'd like to attend a usergroup meeting. How do they work? Is it a chat in a pub type affair?

And doing so brought some new Amigans buying a Sam to (re)discover AmigaOS.
Having many users will bring new developments, not the contrary.

@K-L
Thanks
Okay, It seems that only LAG are on board, no other UK usergroup has bothered to reply. If I don't hear otherwise by this Sunday evening. We will proceed regardless.
@All
Expect an announcement regarding this within the next 2 weeks

@Mikey_C
We tried to get a Scottish Amiga group organised last year:
http://scottishamiga.webs.com/ It's not very active, although you might want to contact the site administrator to see if he wants to get involved.
I'd be happy to help with whatever you're planning...
Cheers,
