ScummVM 0.9.1 68k Released

Version 0.9.1 of ScummVM for 68k was just released (Jan 2, 2007).

ScummVM is probably my favorite "game" (actually a collection of games) -- nice that it's still being updated for 68k.

How about ScummVM 0.9.1 for WarpOS, is this likely?

Hope so, I PM'ed one of the Amiga ScummVm coders on the ScummVM forum and he said he should try and do it but he hasn't got so much time since he's a student.
And Uwe Ryssel's PPC Amiga is dead so he's said he can't make the WOS version :(

That's kinda sad. Our PPC WarpOS machines are still more than capable of this type software. Seems only winuae users may benefit from this latest release.
Guess it's a sign of the times!

Hope someone finds the time to do the port. Maybe some us PPC users could band together and raise a few euro for him as an incentive. Just a thought...

I agree, a new Warpos or Powerup version does make much more sense!
To make any use of a 68k-version, you will at least need a Coldfire CPU.

Ahh, can anyone please test Gobliins 2, either the PC data
or the Amiga data (both should work) and tell me if you can
pick up objects?

There is a glitch/bug in the OS4 build which prevents that
making it unable to progress in the game...

Thanks a lot

I beg your pardon? The thread title reads "ScummVM 0.9.1 68k released". Nevertheless you mentioned a glitch/bug in the OS4 build. Then you asked if somebody can reproduce your bug.

Note that bugs can be either in !!all!! builds (Windows, OS4, 68k, Symbian) or they can be only in one of the ports, due to things that are system specific.

If the bug with picking up objects would be a general ScummVM 0.91 bug, then it would have also appeared on my Nokia E61 port. Got it? Good.

Sorry for trying to help.

In fact i was mixing the SVN build with the actual 0.9.1

With the 0.9.1 you should not be able to play Gobliins 2
(well, maybe in a very degraded way) cause it was only
recently added to be supported by ScummVM.

Your test on the NOKIA doesn't help (wrong platform).
I need a test on another Amiga platform build (I know it
doesn't work on Amiga OS4).

Saying that and realizing that the thread is about
0.9.1 i'll shut my trap and won't cause any further
off-topic damage.

If someone is able to do a 68k SVN compile and test
Gobliins 2 on the error described here , he/she
can get in contact with me privately, thanks a lot
