From this version and forwards CW do no longer rely on SDL and all operations are now native. SDL and Update1 have been clashing a lot here. This sounds great! Still haven't figured why the a CW assign still fails. Yep, never had a assign failure with anything until CW. It's a total mystery, but I'll give a go with the new version! BTW, I',m not using Update1, so I'll let know how it develops plain OS4.1...
The most recent version of Cinnamon Writer 0.69 crashes with a DSI error on my machine. Seems to happen if I list font size on default settings.
Earlier versions are more stable for me. --- redfox MicroA1 + AmigaOS 4.1 Update 1 Compositing (transparency effects) turned off to conserve video RAM.
UPDATE...
Not crashing now after I deleted all copies of Cinnamon Writer and unachived the new lha file again.
My system has been acting up lately. Maybe time to format disk and start from scratch again.

@IamSONIC Thanks for the observation, I will look into the issues you have found.
Regarding future versions I indeed do plan to add support for insertion of images and tables. I have compiled a little list of the major features I wish to add before reaching version 1.0.
0.70-> Spellchecking 0.80 -> Modern read/write capabilities (support for ODF or DocX) 0.90 -> Advanced layout options like tables, images and columns
you should really see if you can't get hold of a bug tracker, really It would be a win-win for both sides The user can chack back and see if their bugs have been adressed and you as a dev won't loose items in the noise of the internet forums
... After some struggle, I have now made the newest version of CW available. ... Download it now!
I have a weak remembrance that CinamonWriter once was developed by or for "Titan Computer" and could run on OS 3.x - but on your hp I can only see versions for OS4 and MorphOS.
Is the OS 3.x version still available somewhere? Which was the last version number of the old CW?

You are mixing up Cinnamon Writer (by Desler) and Papyrus Office (by Titan Computer). ...
You're right. My fault - sorry. Must have been due to my progressing senilism...
