Just can't stay away
Just can't stay away

Hi,
i have missed for a long time the numeric keypad with Wordworth (and a PC keyboard)
I just found the solution for OS4 which should work for Amithlon and UAE amso

do from a shell
run <>NIL: stringins delay=500 keystring="\s\k5A"
then position yourself on Wordworth window.

Numeric pad will be switched on.

I have just tried that, and I get the following error message in the shell:-
Quote:
New Shell process 6
6.OS4.1upd2:> run <>NIL: stringins delay=500 keystring="\s\k5A"
6.OS4.1upd2:> stringins: Unknown command
stringins failed returncode 10

OK, I found Stringins, from Peter Gordon via OS4Depot, and it works.

Do I need to add that to my user startup?
Will it only work before running Wordworth?
Will it interfere with any other program running under OS4.1upd2?

Thanks for the info.

Nice work. Even better - if you make the change, and then "Save Settings" in Wordworth, it remembers!
