Cherokee webserver port: anyone?

Just tried out the Chrerokee webserver and I must admit that is quite speedy. It could be really useful for Sam440 owners and their slow processor.

By checking the requirements it does seems that there are no blocking dependancies (but I could be wrong).
I tried compiling it but I'm such a crap with C sources that I gave up.
Any volunteer?

Yep, kind of ...

?Python: Cherokee has an administration web interface written in Python, so if you intend to use Cherokee-admin you will need this.
A Python GUI is seriously missing in our humble OS!

?If you want to make a build that serves secure content, you will need (Transport Layer Security) TLS libraries.
Have you asked Steve Solie about this. He's the expert on Internet security-- especially SSH matters.

No thanks. Why just one volunteer? That's a lot skills for one person or am I wrong?

i'd never trust an amiga to run a webserver.
it wouldn't be stable enough nor secure enough.

Because I'm only asking to give it a straight compile try, I'm really dumb on this...

With Tk out of the picture, the only thing that can be done is writing our own GUI library. I've done something like that in the Installation Utility, although it is limited. But it won't help with any ported programs.
