The red mouse you were seeing was "just a prototype". There is currently no way to get it. It is unlikely that there will be any way to order it in the future.
@sundown I looked through the event-pictures to find a shot of that ("other") mouse - Thanks for posting the picture!
Looks like some old Logitech Pilot-Mouse to me. It could well become the official X1000 mouse. In Essen, a german version of the Keyboard was also there. Unforunately I found no web site to offer either Mouse or german Keyboard, yet. .. i just cant wait to try them.
Yes, the mouse in that picture is the official product to accompany the X1000 keyboard. It is a very good quality optical mouse rebranded directly from a reputable manufacturer.

Need to be good quality, it's awful to use a cheap keyboard and mouse. I never understood why people buy expensive pc's and save on something as important as the input devices.
Same goes for the monitor get some good quality it will easily outlive the PC.

Well then I must have it.
As an Amiga name follower I am obliged to buy anything branded you know.

actually there was an order list over at aw.net but that got squashed due to copyright infringements I believe?..too bad that Amigakit or any other Amiga dealer is not offering something similar
