Downloading sources of ebomobogobodoshmodo (screenshots and videos looks cool must to say). Interesting, did it use shaders or not

TBH looking through OS4Depot over time I can only assume this is often the case for a lot of Amiga applications.

Although I am familiar with AmiUpdate.. could this be extended to cover games as well or is it just for system/applications?

AmiUpdate uses for anything which will have any updates (you inserst some code in your programm (does not matter which kind of programm) ), and then it will handle all what you need.

But in case with games, there is no much updates mostly. All in all, making the installation script are easy, something like:

script.bat
wget http://aaaaa.aaa/aaaa.tgz
tar zxvf aaaaa.tgz
copy aaaa to bbbbb

+ maybe making gui for, which will show progress bar of downloading, and indicate if it was connected fine or not (and if not, spawn a window like "dl data files manually because looks like dl link are dead"), and so on.

I.e. that all easy , but just need time. I think even Hollywood can be used for that as well .. So maybe you will make a one which can be included later to games which data files should be downloaded :)

Ahhhhh you havent looked at the screenshots and the videos Thats why the port is going so slow Yes its looks relly cool. I get a bit of "dungeon keeper" feeling.

Initial steps with egoboo:



For now still very buggy in rendering terms and many memory leaks happenes, but it compiles, runs, sound/gfx works, so in general need to found from where all the problems coming. That game was pretty hard one (sdk not have some linux fucntions which i implement for now, dunno how good or bad, but it compiles and works). Hope to fix all the problems asap.
