Depends on everyone's interpretation of full-screen, I have the address bar visible and safari bookmarks. Although Safari doesn't have a 'full-screen' mode I know that some browser's offer this feature. So just to clarify (haha) I run my browser with the 'window' fully extended to the bottom of the screen; window's cannot overlap or hide behind the Mac Dock so there is a area at the bottom of the screen set aside for this... which as it happens is how AmiDock should also act so applications I want to load don't become obscured.. but thats different topic altogether!

@Orgin

So yeah I mean full-window, not screen. My bad.

Jst checked your *gallery* code, and it's as bad as I feared - hard-coded sizes: Quote:
if (screen.width == 1152 && screen.height == 864)
{
$('#gallery').galleria({height: 475, transition: 'fadeslide'});
}
else if (screen.width == 1680 && screen.height == 1050)
{
$('#gallery').galleria({height: 600, transition: 'fadeslide'});
}
else if (screen.width == 1280 && screen.height == 800)
{
$('#gallery').galleria({height: 365, transition: 'fadeslide'});
}
else if (screen.width == 1280 && screen.height == 1024)
{
$('#gallery').galleria({height: 550, transition: 'fadeslide'});
}
else
{
$('#gallery').galleria({ height: 345, transition: 'fadeslide'});
}

Try this javascript code instead:
(please note that never wrote any javascript code before, so you will need to correct syntax errors)
Quote:

$('#gallery').galleria({height: (screen.height / 1.8), transition: 'fadeslide'});

If there is such a thing as "window.height" then you can just replace "screen.height" with "window.height" in my previous code, and it should then handle whatever the user throws at your site!

Anyone want to help me out and complete one or two of these blank entries for me? Pretty please. :)

Some text required:

a. Customise your Amiga with a Screen Saver

b. Capture Screen Shots

c. Customising Workbench Windows

d. Changing the Position of the Dock

e. Add an Application to the Dock

f. Remove and Application from the Dock

g. Emptying the Trashcan - DONE

1. Simply select the files you wish to delete by firstly holding down xxx and clicking the left mouse button.

2. Hold the left mouse button and drag and drop the files onto the Trashcon icon sitting on the Workbench.

Files will stay in the Trashcon until it is emptied.

3. To restore a file(s), select those files you need from the Trashcan and simply drag and drop them onto the Workbench or into another drawer.

4. To empty the Trashcan, permanently deleting it's contents simply go to Workbench menu, select xxxx and then xxxx and click to confirm.

One notice from me: Loading of images are slow, even on not very slow adsl line. I think it because you upload it in fullsize, and scale. But you need to create a "thumbs" for thumbs, and only upload full image when user press on it and want to see it in full.

Okay resized thumbs, should be a noticeable improvement. :)

Especially on the Community page as I didn't get around to creating any thumbs. \o/

Thanks for the big effort again, but copying Mac style is not too smart:

e.g.

- Contrast is very bad
- Using pictures is nice, but I prefer straightforward sorted menu with types of software and hardware and infos.
This way you have to go over and over the pictures trying to get some clue. Its good for packages and limited number of items

Instead of cutiness try thinking of better navigation
and provision of info.

Great and bold try!

I'll post images as I go and you guys can help with the direction... Constructive criticism is welcome. "I don't like it" does not help ;)

Your mockups are really nice. Better than djrikky current ones. Looks more stilysh and proffesional (that what we not have enough when it connect to amiga related sites). Good fonts, good size, good design and good layout.

Only maybe the text at top (Stores Hardware, etc) need some more work.

@DjRikki
If you want to create some site for newbes, then maybe will be not so bad idea, to splitting "app" area like : graphics apps, network apps, apps for developers. And for every are put the best-current ones with also videos and screenshots.

I can make some videos , but for now its only "point camera on monitor". Even if i have for now more or less good camera, its still camera (so , dunno will be it fine for newbes to put sucking by quality vids).
