Starting a new one here, since the super duper site is back. :D

Well,i still have issues with the 460.
I have managed to update the u-boot. So now running my hd from the onboard sata2. Seems that i have no more complaints about read/write errors etc from the filesystem. Like i had many times before. So let's hope that has been fixed now. :)

But i still have sometimes a system lockup/freeze. And owb and netsurf doesn't work. So im stuck with ib. :(

And btw,how do i enable in uboot the right menu key? So i can do kbd reset?

Just transferring my question from the old site, what RAM are you using? Random freezes are possible with RAM issues, even if it passes a memory test.

I just got a SAM460 myself; and I like it quite a bit.

I had some trouble with OWB too (no text would show up), but I figured out that the problem was with my fonts. (I copied all of the fonts from my old SYS: hard drive without reinstalling them on my new system.)
OWB started working again once I downloaded and installed the core fonts from here:

I'm using PC2-6400 CL6 (2 GB) in my machine. Seeing as your RAM is slower (333 MHz as opposed to 400 MHz), it might be your RAM. I suggest trying PC2-6400 RAM. Additionally, you might want to contact ACube since there may be improvements that could be made to the RAM setup code.

Did a quick test.
Copied a aprox 450mb movie from hd to ram.
Did that 2 times, the 3rd time it gives me ram disk is full. Checked with avail, says i have about 700mb free. Ram disk says i'm using about 1000mb. So where did the rest of the ram go? It's a 2gig ram module. Uboot confirms this....

Great!

I didn't see any reason why it wouldn't work. I mean it works on every OS4.1 whatever the platform

It was the ram that caused all the problems. As i suspected. Have now installed a 2GB corsair 800mhz ram module. And it's stable at last.
