It is possible with current site disable viewing of some sub-forums at all per account (as orgin do in last days on temporary site) ? Imho very nice feature.. Trying to check account settings, but looks like xoops not have such abilites by default ?
@kas1e I think that Orgin uses the newbb module for the forum at the temporary website. At the new website we use an other module called XForum, which is successor of the newbb. The only thing that I guess is that the XForum doesn't have these configuration for the user, to choose which forums he wants to see at the first page, but I will keep on looking for this feature.
@all As you might all have seen already, I added beside the topics the number of the pages for you to jump. Also, I removed the feature that used to lead to the last post of the topic when you clicked at the topic title.
@ribdevil For now the "View More" button removed. The module has a few problems with that page. We have to make changes to the server too, so that it will work right.
@phantom If you want to keep the selected theme you like most, try to edit your profile, where you have to check to get a cookie for one year. Then you may choose your beloved theme and then do not logout from the amigans.net. Try to check if you close your browser and then reopen it, if you visit the web site you must still see the chosen theme.
@all The old themes are going to be updated so that they work better with the new theme system of the xoops 2.4 that we use. But first we have to make feature additions and bug fixes.

Love the new look, it's fresh and modern. I have no problem using OWB with it. However, I don't see a need for the "Reply" box at the end of every thread - in fact, it's probably only encouraging verbosity. I would have thought the "Reply" button was good enough.
I realise this sounds like a whinge and perhaps others don't find it irritating, but when I get to the end of a thread, I like to be able to return to "Home" with a single click ("Back" doesn't work if you've been reading the thread page by page). On the temp site, you (or Orgin?) were kind enough to add a "Home" link on the bottom of the page, but I see no such link on this new site.
Could we please have a "Home" link at the bottom? Otherwise I have to scroll back up to the top of the last page, then click "Home" in the links bar.
@orgin Your scratch Snack! is an impressive accomplishment, when one considers how it compares to XOOPS.
I really don't want to look a gift horse in the mouth... I really do appreciate the unrewarded efforts the Ops have put into getting the site back up and running!
But I wonder... what wonderful things has the XOOPS server provided visitors (over Snack!) in exchange for the loss of native Amiga browser compatibility?
What's the argument for not using Snack! and allowing Amigans the use of IBrowse, etc.?
One thing I find completely unacceptable is the format for the "Last Post" date.
Can you please change that to be something remotely sane, ISO format yyyy-mm-dd would be a good idea, but please get rid of that idiotic American month-first nonsence, it is just way too illogical to even be considered remotely usable by a multi-country user base.
The only time you can realise it's that stipid format is when you find yourself trying to figure out what the 13th month is... (":?

I would assume that Reply would be used by a threaded-view (if there is one available?), and so might be annoying if unrelated replies appear in the wrong place.
Also, it is usually the case (although sadly not here... yet?) that Reply will add "@someone" to the top of the post, and often also quote the post that is being replied to.
I agree the date format needs addressing, dd/mm/yyyy is pretty much the norm these days.
@mods
The reply button is behaving like the previous Amigans.net can you please change it so it copies the @name into the message box? This is a very annoying 'feature'!
@tonyw You can use the "^Top" link at the end of the post list or the "^" button at the end of each post to go at the top of the list at once and then use the home link if you want, until we create something else.
@all The format of the date is really annoying and I'm looking how to fix it.

PS! If i click on the preview button(which is alone) it doesn't take the +,only the 1.... Strange.
