where can i find the config file and how do i change it
You don't need to find the config file. Just open the Developer Console on Quake 2 (usually done using the ' key above the Tab key), and then enter the following command:
set gl_mode "0"Quote:
how do i change the buffer?
Open an (AmigaDOS) Shell, and enter the following command:
AddBuffers Games: 1500(where "Games" is the name of the volume with Quake 2 on it.)
If this helps the speed of Quake 2, then you can make it permanent, either by adding that line to your S:User-Startup file with Notepad, or else by using Media Toolbox. Or you could stop using FFS !
