Repository server and 68k crosscompiler available for AOS4?

Hi altogether,

are there any of these tools available? CVS does not come with server support and regarding svn I was told not to use the server part as all (this matches with my own experiences when I did so)!

Anybody any information on that?

Many thanks in advance and
Best Regards

Yes... the same information you got already ;)

Regarding the crosscompiler: you should say what kind of crosscompiler you want. For C there is vbcc. Fully crosscompiling from any platform to any platform. Easy to build for any platform on any platform ;)

For c++, there is none that compiles from OS4 to 68k, but vice versa. I dont think that theres any chance to get some crosscompiler for 68k that runs on OS4. Maybe you should use some win/lin crosscompiler then.

Its a good idea to test not just recompile it.

If you think about working on Amiga projects in WinUAE,
and cross compile projects for AmigaOS4,
you can setup a Cygwin environment so you can do x86 to PowerPC AmigaOS4.

I'd like to have an AOS4->68k crosscompiler wich compiles my C++ projects I'm working on using AOS4 and CodeBench.

Setting up another environment on a Win/Linux platform is currently no alternative for me!

@whose:
What do you mean by "the same information" I already got? The ones regarding a repository server? I really would need one which supports tagging in order to keep track of different development approaches (see apropriate thread on german ANews).

BTW: Did did not hear from you a long time! How are you doing and how are the circumstances for you an Insane? We should write same mails again to each other!

“AOS4->68K” crosscompiler,

you don't need that just to use GCC for 68K, or VBCC for 68K, (yes native PowerPC compiler runs faster, but you don't need it.)

You need to download the OS3.9 NDK.

You should probably do something about assigns before compiling, so you don't get any conflicting SDK files.
