Just wanted to let you all know Neil Cafferkey has fixed a minor endian issue relating to broadcast frames that was causing issues in conjunction with a small amount of routers.
The device driver now fully works with any supported card (flashed to the right firmware) and connected to any router broadcasting 802.11b (whether b alone or a/b/g/n), in Unsecured, WEP 64/128bit ASCII/HEX, WPA-PSK TKIP/AES or WPA2-PSK TKIP/AES, hidden SSID or not.
The incoming data bug that existed when connected to some models of router has been fixed.
Best and most stable firmware to use is 1.7.4 (
http://linux.junsun.net/intersil-prism/ ). Read site to make sure you flash to the right firmware type for your card.
I can't see any slowdown (due to encryption) on my Sam440ep-flex.
