OS4Depot download links do not work

links are given such as:
http://os4depot.net/?function=showfil ... ility/misc/reportplus.lha
this doesn't work
http://os4depot.net/share/utility/misc/reportplus.lha does

Your link above does work, but I know what you mean, the & a m p; (no spaces) is in the URL causing problems.

Hmmm... maybe Im missing something, but is the first link not doing exactly what it is supposed to do? Showing the file, aka showing the files properties?

The second link is another one, its a direct link to the file, without any command to "show" any properties, so any decent browser will recognize the download header and starts the download.

For me this behaviour is absolutely correct?

I agree with whose. The first link gives you the info to decide if you want the file, if you do, click the download link at the top. The second link is for those who know what the file is for & just want it.

I would prefer that ppl post the first link to their app so I can decide if it's something I want to try before downloading.

Yes same problem "Recent OS4 Files" links does not work.

"&" is missing in URL when you post in the forum, thats way it works her for every one else.

The source to the os4depot section looks as though it's been doubel escaped ie you see links like so
