I was wondering about a thing. Tried gimp on windows the other day. And found that gimp could load pdf documents. Is this also possible on the amiga version? Was a nice feature i'd like to be able to use.

Damn - you got me. I've forgotten to add this plug-in to the loader package .
When I have some time I will create and upload a new package. I can send you a download link to the plug-in for testing if you like?

You could always just convert the pdf to a png or jpeg with ghostscript and import that.

I don't know if GS can convert text to an image.

PDFtoHTML (http://os4depot.net/index.php?functio ... ext/convert/pdftohtml.lha) will convert PDF to HTML, with all images, if you use the complex document option. It does use GhostScript to extract the images though.

I can help testing yes. But not right now as i don't have an amiga atm.
But when i do i will gladly help. Just send me a notice when you have fixed it. And you don't have to stress to fix it.

I thought the goal was to get the images out of a .pdf. In that case, Gimp isn't needed.

Not needed but a very handy tool incase you want to alter the image a bit.

The new loader package with the PDF loader is now online at OS4-depot. Now go and get your new Amiga .
