DVPlayer problems

I am having major problems with DVPlayer on my SAM460 since upgrading to update 3!

If I launch DVPlayer (full version or demo version) instantly I get screen corruption, loads of random lines and colours. Do not try and load a movie or anything, this happens as soon as I double click the icon to launch the program.

I know you said it works fine for you, what machine is that on?

If I drag other program windows over corrupted screen areas it clears to normal workbench look but also I get a grim reaper at same time as I launch the program.

Any ideas?

I'm running DVP registered (you too?) on Sam460 with Update 3 without such problems.

Did you try on a clean partition? Update2 installed and then Update3 on top of it.

I just checked your libs list in the crashlog and it looks like you don't have avcodec.library installed.

Also check you have this installed and not the default (22218 bytes) one in dvplugins. You only need the plugin file from that archive.

Ok, that probably means that DVPlayer hasn't got as far as loading avcodec.library, that might help Cobra track down the problem.
