Your Next Amiga Hardware Purchase will be...

Thanks to Walkero the Poll Module should now be working. Following on from the abortive attempt of trying to publish a poll regarding the Amiga Netbook 2 days ago, here is a new poll to see if the whole thing works properly.

While I do want the performance of X1000, I don't want the being chained to a desk of it. I do not want the low-performance or too-small screen for my eyes of a NetBook, but I do want the being able to use it at all aspect of it. NetBook wins.

The option for my next likely purchase is missing FPGA Arcade as I already own a sam440ep to run OS4 software on.

Btw, it is possible to make polls, where users can choice not only one, but few items ? For example my next one will be :
netbook and sam460 (if i can't buy a pure matherboard of x1000).

Amiga Netbook. I will wait and see if X1000 prices drop or not. My credit card simply is not big enough to support that kind of money :P

drooling for my X1000

I have bad news. Had the AmigaOne X1000 been available in May of this year, I would have bought it.... BUT, $3,000 is too high. I would have bought it for $2,400 (including 12% tax here, Canada) though.


However, the Netbook AmigaOne, I am prepared to buy:

3 ... If it's close to $300 to $400.

2 ... If it's $500 to $600.


And

4 ... If it is $336 (that's with 12% sales tax.)


What's realistic? I do need 2, but would buy up to 2 extra to support AMIGA!!!!!

I'll be buying the netbook only. IMHO, what made the Amiga what it is isn't the fast processor but the highly integrated graphics chips. If the PowerVR core proves to be worth its weight, I should be able to do what I need to on it.

I voted for the netbook, but will get the X1000 first. Will be nice to play with during vacations.

The only thing I don't like about the 'Voting module' is that I have to log-in to see the vote results which is kinda silly.

X1000 for sure. Then the laptop if it's any good and stays below $500.

I'd buy Natami & maybe a netbook for OS4.x/MorphOS. But Natami comes first! :D
