Deniil wrote: Can someone confirmm if any Seagate externa HD work?
I found this: Extern harddisk Seagate® FreeAgent GoFlex. I was looking for a 500GB disk. Is that the same thing that didn't work in the 250GB version?
well I can't confirm if my External 250GB HD works with Update 3 right now as I unfortunately don't have my OS4.x machine yet; however, I can tell you that it was working great with Update 1 with no issues other than it being slow with no USB2.0 but it didn't work at all with Update 2.
Hopefully someone else can confirm if it works with Update 3 for you in the mean time.
Please add this to working on os4. I bought it to replace my Logitech Dinovo as this has much better batterytime (1 year instead of 2-8 weeks) and is smaller, still having all keys i need. Not as beautiful as the edge but more confortable. Gonna use it in my tv room :)
1. Logitech mouse M505 work fine with update3 or 4.
That mean there are no reason to see other range of logitech M series mouse not working with AOS4.
This mouse is a cordless one with an unify dongle. Maybe all unify Logitech hardware (keyboard for example), work fine also.
this mouse use a verry high resolution that mean you could cover all the screen with a verry small movement of the hand. strange first seconds but great after some time of use.
2. OCZ Rally2 16go stick work fine (FAT formatted).

You don't forget that the main problem is that these external hard disk are formated for Windos and ntfs system and Amiga OS only recognizes the FAT system, I have one external case with one Amiga hard disk format and it works fine, but the hard disk inside the case have this problem.
My USB mouse has stopped working with upd4. It is an ergonomic mouse, the Evoluent VerticalMouse 3 (VM3R2-USB). It worked fine before, but now it doesn't complete registration completely and only left/right works but not up/down movement. usb.log excerpt:
| Device found on port 2 of hub "Front Roothub (uhci.usbhcd/1)". | Device at port 2 of hub "Front Roothub (uhci.usbhcd/1)" is low-speed. | Fkt 0x6fd47470 at level 1 | Device on hub port 2 successfully added. | Fkt 0x6fd47470 is {Vendor: 0x1A7C, Product: 0x0068, Class: 00.00} | Fkt 0x6fd47470 initialized | SetProtocol failed E:| Interface binding failed. Behavior is the same connected at boot or afterwards, whether connected directly to motherboard ports or through a hub, using USB2 or USB1.1 ports, and same if ehci is disabled. The vendor/product ID is read correctly (0x1A7C/0x68). This is on an A1XE ("fixed") with a NEC USB2 card.
I am trying to register on Hyperion's forums to report this there as well.
Got a Casio EX-Z37 digital camera for christmas and can confirm it works on a Sam460 with update4. Am able to browse to the photo directory and transfer to workbench.
Just installes a Sitecom 4x USB2.0 highspeed PCI-card in my Pegasos 2, powered on my machine with OS4.1upd4 and got ~10 MB / sec readspeed on a Peak 4GB USB stick. Works right out of the box, great!
My Sandisk 8 or 16MB Cruzers don't show up on the Workbench. Only the U3-system partition of the sticks.
I can verify that the Logitech Unify dongle works fine with my OS4 Upd 4 system running on the microA1. I am currently using the Logitech MK520 mouse/keyboard combo.
Edited to add my Canon PowerShot SX-130 camera. As soon as I turned it on, the transfer wizard popped up and started reading the images on the camera. I was also successfully able to transfer select images to a directory on the hard drive.
Wow. Seven pages of information, and not one MIDI device in sight. I can fix that. I have an Edirol UM-880 and a Behringer BCR-2000 that are working great. I can confirm that the "sister products" Edirol UM-550 and Behringer BCF-2000 work as well. I've had great reports on a bunch of M-Audio gear with USB ports, but no details at this time.
If you're also keeping notes on the type of equipment, the two Edirol devices are "Multi-port MIDI interfaces", and the Behringer ones are "MIDI control surfaces"
