So far I count two people who have (rather excitedly) let us know that their machines have arrived. While it's nice to hear their first impressions, I would have expected that more would have arrived by now.
So, new A1-X1000 owners, please drop by and say hi in this thread. And, if you're not too busy playing with your new toy, some first impressions, photos, or more, would be appreciated.
Hans
P.S. You can skip the benchmarks; I've already seen them, and am bored of those.
hey TJ, it looks like that little video of you booting your X1000 for the first time has got 15,000 views in 4 days ! so it seems more than a few amigans out there are interested in the official arrival of the X1000
btw, you'll notice ALOT less 'noise' (for lack of a better word) here than over at a.org !
Wish I could have done a better job but I think it is good enough for what it is. One of these days I will get my lighting issues resolved. But yes, 15k views is sweet. Shows quite a few folks at least have some interest in Amiga.

Yes, they are impressive. My RadeonHD_RM.resource test video is still under 1000 views. It shows that quite a number of people are interested in the A1-X1000, or at least curious about it.
@328gts What's "a.org"? (oh ok, I'm joking, well kind of - I haven't visited it in many many months since it seems to want to have little to do with OS4)

LOL! It gets called troll.org too Theyre more MorphOS aficionados but its a shame they cant just cut out the childish remarks when it comes to OS4.
EDIT: Has any got a link to the video TJ did? 15000 views is amazing!

Don't be sad , for me your test video is far better if only because the work involved.
So hopefully I'll get mine in a week or so, having just paid the "Final demand"
Paying for it certainly helps.
I don't know what the turnaround time is at AmigaKit once you have made your final payment but I can't imagine it would be very long. Having inventory lingering around is never a good thing for a retail business.
Hi, from developers side, it would be nice to know how much x1000 users are there.
I think it would be nice if you place an entry at amigamap.com. currently there are 16 x1000 but i think most entries are made before the first contact hardware arrives (beta testers? ).
Why i want to know how much users are out there? We make games that use full features of OS4.x, we have good performance on Sam440 and AmigaOnes, but i think with X1000 and Sam460 Hardware we get PCI-E, Faster Ram and faster CPU so there are great possibilities to make better games.
We can play our swamp defense in FullHD on our AmigaOne in 60fps, so what can be done with better hardware (i am looking forward to games with many parallax layers).
You have to login to that and if I once had a password can't remember it. There was another and actually a more useful Amga Map somewhere, if anyone knows the URL for that one I'll add the X1000 to my lsit.
I know the developer of this site from a german forum, i think it is no problem to reset the password. I think, that the password thing is good, if you change a configuration or add/remove a own entry. A Map where every body can insert hardware without this, can´t be good for getting a valid number of users...
I have seen other lists, but i think this here is better (private opinion, would look at other too if i have links)
Hello all thought it was about time I join this site and what better way of doing than by doing it with my new AmigaONE X1000. Yep first Amiga website I have posted on from my new Amiga. Lots to learn and setup but finding it great to be back on an Amiga.
