Always scan only 100 stations, even if you move the slider to 500 or 1000.

@all

This is good news. Just sad that this piece of software seems to be abandoned

Ok but...
Where's Bean?

I know its really busy...but at least some news from it to know if he have intention to left TuneNET or continue it was nice to have...

Also consider that if he have intention to left he can release the sourcecode under GPL or or so...

I hope that he can come back one day however...

Nice!

Is there a stream save option for TuneNet??

Sometimes I really want to save an hour of radio so I can put it in my phone or MP3 player to listen at somewhere where I don't have net.

AmiNetRadio has that feature and also saves one file for each song in a directory for each channel, if the station sends these ID stuff. Problem is AmiNetRadio is extremely unstable on OS4 and hardly works at all unless you know exactly what kind of massaging it wants.

At least there's a "Record" button and menu item present in TuneNet - but I must admit that I never used it...

According to the 'User Manual.pdf' doc it is possible to play tunes from your webbrowser.
Quote:

Configuring IBrowse (optional)
1. Go to the Preferences / Settings from the main menu.
2. Open up General and select Mime Types.
3. Add or alter the following entries:
(A)
MIME Type: AUDIO / X-MPEGURL
Extension: pls
Action: External Viewer
Viewer: c:TuneNet
Arguments: -browser %f
(B)
MIME Type: AUDIO / X-SCPLS
Extension: pls
Action: External Viewer
Viewer: c:TuneNet
Arguments: -browser %f
4. Press OK.
5. Select Preferences / Save Settings from the menu.
6. Quit IBrowse.
The same settings apply to AWeb.

I tried with IBrowse and this works great in pls mode
I'll just compile my own list of favorites to start with

Flemish stations i am interested in tell me that using Windows Mediaplayer i can tune in directly, using the given URLs eg

http://mp3.streampower.be/radio1-low.mp3

I guess this must be possible with Tunenet but i did not succeed.

Till now i was only able to add a station to my playlist using IBrowse as fescribed above; I added a MIME description for mp3 extensions but there is no direct clicable link . The clickable links make use of javascript & flashplayer.

When entering the link directly in IBrowse's URL textin gadget. Downloas is started but no sound. I guess i am just filling my HD.

Thanks for any help

Edited
03 april : progressed with this. No help needed anymore
