Installed and... lost my wireless connection. I had to revert to the old version of bsdsocket.library in order to get it back (and had to fiddle for a while before sorting this out...). With prism.device on A1XE
ok i don't know if i have to open a new thread or post it here, so the moderator can move my post to the right section.
I would like to test the new warp3d driver and i tried quake on my sam440ep mini itx but it doesn't start.. it quit and return to workbench displaying an error about hunck allocation failed.. any ideas?
I tried QuakeGL 1 from OS4depot.net and i doesn't work for me..
my system is a Sam440ep Mini itx with a Radeon M9 on board.
The pak files are original, take them from the Quake Collection from ID.
I tried also, to be sure, the software render version of quake ported by Stephen Fellner aka Cobra. This version is available from os4depot.net too and it worked fine on my system..
Upgrade completed. My system seems a bit sluggish right now, but it might be network related. I was having a few issues before I downloaded the update. I will see how it goes over the next few days. Fingers crossed.
Only problems I have encountered so far are 'boing ball' blanker no longer displays and if I log into Amigans.net with muiowb it says I'm logged in but am not as wont allow me to input anything! But works fine with Timberwolf!
SAM 460 with 2GB or RAM, 1000GB HD, 4 port SATA, DVDRW drive and Radeon HD 4650 GFX card.
Downloaded glquake from os4depot and here works fine (A1-XE with "old" ATI radeon7000 64MB, composition ON)
Just try to delete/backup: id1/config.cfg id1/glquake/
Those file and drawer are auto-created if they don't exists when starting glquake. when starting without them for a couple of seconds I get a grey screen, then it shows normal quake screen/options.
And maybe try a higher stack (start with 1.000.000) from Shell/CLI.
