Hard Drive Not Booting

Have moved my Sam 440 from one case to another.
Was working perfect prior to change

Now have the following:

IDE Device 0: not available

AOS4 FLB

FLB: No SLB found in any of the designated boot sources;

Returning to U-Boot Press any key to continue

Suggestions Please

Try to switch the cables between harddisk and dvd. Go into uboot and configure boot priority again.

Have switched cables. No differance

Bought this system all set up, does reconfiguring boot priority destroy data on harddrive

No, the partition geometry stays the same therefore they stay quite accessible.

Thats a relief as I have AOS4 and Linux on the drive, would be a heartbreaker to reinstall everything

Make sure that the harddrive is plugged into the SATA port called "J20", and the CD/DVD drive is plugged into "J23". Check your Sam440's manual as to which ones these are, although (AFAIR) J20 is the one closest the to middle of the board, and J23 is the farthest (i.e. nearest the corner).

If you did all that correctly, then maybe you have a loose SATA cable, or else your Sam440 was not set-up correctly in the first place, so you may need to change some UBoot settings?

Correct, the Sata cables were incorrectly placed, in the transfer from one case to the other was sure that I had not unplugged them, I am getting old.
