well did you test it? let us know when you do
@ Chris
great to see Intuitionbase is back up again! The current list there for USB is quite outdated so I'm trying to migrate this list to Intuition base in the next little while
thanks a ton for helping get this list of devices over on intuitionbase! we're doing google searches for each entry to try and find a web page for each product at its manufacturer, etc., to make the entries even more helpful.
FYI -- we're not adding cell phones or USB pen drives to the database at this time.

no problem & thanks for giving me the incentive like I said before it's great to have the site back up & active again.
btw, why no phones or USB pens as these are very common USB devices nowadays that many OS4.x users would like to know work with their respective machines before buying them ?

Yes, I have used it in OS4 ever since AmiCygnix came out, first on my now- deceased A1, now on my SAM460.
Sorry, I thought I had brought this device up when you first started the thread, but no sign of such a message in my profile, so, wrong again! Anyway, it's not the sort of thing one is likely to have, unless passed down from a previous owner, as in my case.
I have bad news. UMS (masstorage) is removed in Samsung S3. They use PTP/MTP instead. On windows it feels almost the same you see it as partition and can move files etc. Probably little slower. It should be more safe as masstorage can be corrupted. On x1000 using update5 PTP window shows error messages. So you cant see it as a partition nor copy pictures with PTP. However you can install an app called "Kies Air" on the phone. That way you can access the phone with owb/timberwolf and see a nice gui with categories/media etc. It needs java and flash for some operations like multiple file down/upload. Without it you can up/download one file at time. Its slower too as it goes thru wifi/3g.
Ofcourse theres faster way to send/receive more files and its thru FTP, still slower then using cable and masstorage but faster then using a webbrowser. And theres ofcourse other protocols.
Too bad that they didnt leave at least UMS support for external memory cards.
My HP Color LaserJet 2605dn worked splendidly from December 2006 until it died a few days ago. I don't remember what OS4 version was in effect then, but it has worked through all of them.
It would be incredibly useful to have sort/search functionality on the database... or even for USB devices to be split up into sub-categories.
I haven't added what I reported earlier because I think 328gts has... although I can't find them. I've added my USB scanner though (into "scanners" rather than "USB"), as I forgot about it before.
this list has been fully transferred to intuitionbase.com and I'll be updating it from now non every time I update this thread. Hopefully they can provide a proper search function as you suggested as that would be great.
