How can i see how my dvd rom settings are? Like pio/dma mode etc???

In a shell do:

c:idetool -l <yourdevice>

e.g. c:idetool -l a1ide.device

This will list all attached hardware with settings
--

game box/art scans
scummvm infrequent builds
