...and your sure the requester at the end of decoding said it completed with not errors?

Try setting video codec to something other than Copy as well. Just set the Profile to one of the DRAFT modes and see what happens.

...no errors.

Tried Draft 16:9 and still ghosted. An Output file plays fine...

"Play Output" button is only enabled after "Join" or 'Cut & Join" is performed.

You cant do just Cut and play.

Also i suggest to enable the gadget hints button for various buttons are all explained there.

Could I use VideoClipper to generate a video from photos with sound ? I did not see an answer to this in the doc...

I dont think so.
At least i used ffmpegGUI (from same author) that can do that. Havent tried with several photos myself. But i did use one photo for still music video to use on youtube. There is a quick setup for photo_audio -> Movie (mp4). Give it a try.

You can do subtitles with app simplesub from same developer.
