Does anyone know the difference with power usage on these 2 systems using onboard gfx card?
And is there much difference in choosing ssd rather than the normal hdd?

I can't answer exactly but I measured the consumption of my Sam440-flex and results are here.

Basically, it consumes between 25W and 26W in idle, including around 4W due to the Radeon 9250.

I hope I will be able make measurements on Sam460 soon.

That's not much, i guess the non flex comes in about the same range.
How is it about boot times on those two machines?

I ran a quick test with my Sam460 + Radeon HD 6570, and at idle it consumed approximately 22W. This is after workbench has loaded, and excludes the power consumed by the monitor.

It's very interesting that AOS4 uses less power on idle than Linux! !!

I love efficient way of operating.

Not always.

Looks like the power usage on the 460 is very low, and thats good.
