Yes that's happen, finally the latest version of AmigaAMP comes with a proper support for the TuneNet plugins !
Quote:
AmigaAMP 3.7 (OS4-NATIVE) released - Added TuneNet Plugin support. - Now using faad.library instead of built in AAC decoder. - Fixed automatic opening of playlist window in ReAction GUI mode.
Now, if only amigaamp can be not just skinned, but have something like tunenet's SkinFX display switch, or at least some default pre-installed skins which looks more modern than that default one. Sure just eye-candy, but why not.
EDIT.... resolved. My faaa_library was not installed properly.
Appears newer AmigaAMP relies on it and I did not see that.
Made sure my library was in place and now .m4a plays fine.
tj
Anyone else not able to play .m4a anymore on AmigaAMP 3.7?
All played fine before and I just updated to this 3.7 and now my MP3 play fine but all the .M4a do not play. The bar that shows progress of the song moves rather quickly from left to right and nothing happens song wise. No sound nothing.
AmigaAMP and TuneNet, now it's hard to choose one, both programs are superb

Add also a docky skinable interface, the Cover retrieve etc .. TuneNet seems a bit more feature complete but with the time ...
I admit having the TuneNet source released as free software would be my dream

Which one? I tried TN_SID.tnplug 51.2 (11/11/2006) which crashes with a DSI error (recoverable but won`t play the .sid file anyway) and TN_ReSID.tnplug 1.2 (24/09/2012) , which won`t crash but won`t play the file either.
I`ve noticed another problem also : If i load an .mp3 file with greek characters on it (file name & ID3 Tag), an "Out of memory for ID3v2 tag!" message pops up. With previous AmigaAMP version the message was always there but clicking OK would play the file, now it just skips to the next one.
