Yes it is.

I have one since christmas and still enjoy it, although there is a lack of games that really show what the graphics hardware can do. I know that it is better than the Gamecube, because I could compare both Zelda versions. The Gamecube version often has slowdowns, the Wii version doesn't. I also think the Wii version has sharper graphics, but that could be because I've seen them on different TV's.
