Sadly that author do not bother to upload it on os4depot, and most of users who will miss that topic once it will disappear from front page will stick with 3.5 version for all the time.
For first, not all runs amiupdate for anything but only for get os updates. For second, even if i have installed amigaamp right now, amiupdate find nothing. For third, why then needs to have it on os4depot at all and older version ?
os4depot is must, or there will be less users of latest versions, less bug reports, less improvements = >fail for all.
It's because you have probably renamed the program executable. AmigaAMP is registered at the AmiUpdate server with the executable name "AmigaAMP3". When an update becomes available, the program scans AppDir: for the path to file AmigaAMP3 - if you have renamed it, the file is never found so AmiUpdate assumes that AmigaAMP is not installed in your system.
@Trixie I didn't rename it, and it still fails to find out in amiupdate. Plz, upload that on os4depot, you can see yourself it give problems for some of us when is not there.

@Raziel You think i am so stupid that do not know where to get it ? [ ] My worry is to have it on os4depot. If you will ask "why", then all in previous posts.

You can't force devs to upload any of his/her program to any site. if the original dev prefers to keep it on it's homepage and only there, you have to live with it.

No i haven't renamed Amigaamp3. i have an entry for amigaamp3 in envarc:appdir but i have no appdir: Am i supposed to have an appdir: ?
AmigaAmp3 isn't in my list of compatible installed programs in amiupdate but running appdir:amigaamp3 from shell works. Nice, i didn't know about this appdir thing before but still amiupdate didn't update it for me and it's not listed.

Not listed as a DOS volume or assign, no. It's a virtual directory of kind.

I don't have it among AmiUpdate-compatible apps either. Strange. All I can say that I have a file "AmigaAMP3" in ENV(ARC):AppDir, the contents of which is the path to my AmigaAMP directory ("DH1:Utils/Media/AmigaAMP"). When I replace the file AmigaAMP3 with an older version (3.5), AmiUpdate offers me the latest version (3.8).

I have downgraded to Amigaamp version 3.5 again and amiupdate still doesen't offer me an update for it, but an upgrade to sysmon was offered today so amiupdate seems to work.
So i fired upp snoopy and ran the update again and in the log i could see that it was not even looking for amigaamp :(
I think i will take this to the hyperion support forum if nobody here has a clue because now i'm out if ideas.
Please do as Trixie suggested an take a look in ENVARC:AppDir/. Look for AmigaAmp3, load it into Notepad and check where the path points to. (AppDir isnt foolproof unfortunately, there can still be paths to programs in there that doesnt exist anymore)
If the path is wrong, put in the righ one, if the AmigaAmp3 entry doesnt exist, create it and try again with AmiUpdate.
The easiest solution would be to install AmigaAmp3 again though
