PS. I am not ignoring the previous earlier pieces of advice... I think somr of this stuff is gold-dust - especially the keyboards shortcuts and should be recorded somewhere permanently like e.g. on http://wiki.amigaos.net.

Same behavoiur when I turn off the switcher as well.

I am just putting loads of echo 1, 2, 3, 4 through the sequence and see how far it reaches.


Sorry, just happened to read that post

You can simply put a
Quote:

set echo on

at the top of your startup-sequence and every single command will be printed, showing you exactly where it stops...of course...if you have some "run"s in there it might be another program which is freezing in the background, still this command saved me a lot of times
