I thought about having a look at it but I don't know anything about coding USB, and I'm not sure how open the OS4 USB API is.... hence I just stuck to the Catweasel.
And we are grateful that you did stick with the CW as it works a treat under OS4.1 update 6. I love being able to download something off the net on my X1000 and just copy it over to an amiga floppy to be used on my A1000
I've got a CatWeasel around here somewhere too - bought largely because I thought it might have some "enhanced" properties for reading old, marginal disks.
After I heard from Jens that one needed to use a peecee to to access such powers, I lost interest in the Catweasel.
Has the OS4 driver developed better marginal floppy capabilities?

I tried to drum up some interest to get this ported back at the start but there were no takers
I got one of the first batch with the drive and bits and pieces but never used it yet, was waiting for an AmigaOS port and the year off I'd need to do all my floppies LOL

don't know how you missed the massive thread here dedicated to testing CW on OS4.1 but lucky you can now start enjoying your floppies on you X1000 as well as your classics
I think the Smart thing to do is to send one to Rigo he has the knowledge about USB in's and out's.
I did the initial port of CW4 to AmigaOS4, I have also been eye balling Kryoflux a bit, some times wondering if I should get one or not, just have go at it, but then again, I don't have any DD disk to recover anymore, and know how much work it was get CW4 driver to even work. In the end I got sick of it, and decided it was best to move on. It might be fun to try.
I done some research on USB and I come to conclusion that can't do anything whit just probe the end points and that’s about it, how to send or restive or talk whit USB devices I have no idea.
