Thanx, I'll give it a try.

Printing: see above = solved / native fonts problem

ftp: would be important to me, strange though, that qOrganizer doesn't save, after you uploaded via ftp.

@tommysammy / zzd10h
Icons look great, what about toolbar Icons in Amiga Style? I tried to exchange Icons in Images drawer. But that doesn't have an effect. Maybe they are completely integrated during compiling. However, if you are interested, I'll send you the needed AISS Icons...

Yes, pictures are referenced in a resource file (application.qrc) and compiled.

Personaly, I like these icons.

Spot-Up : For me Daily compile well.
Notifications works (only Ringhio and Popup notifications, no command or sound events)

Are you still working on Daily ?

wonderful! i imagine it's a darn sight more performant than timberwolf on the 460. when can we expect a release?

@thread

out of curiosity: is anyone working on a QT theme that makes the widgets look like native reaction gadgets? native menus work well for me, and performance is reasonable on my peg2. just wish this stuff 'looked' native as well. a minor point, of course, but again, just curious if anyone was working on it.

I commented something about themes here: http://www.amigans.net/modules/xforum ... t_id=80748#forumpost80748

AFAIK nobody is working on a native skin atm - but I may be wrong here...

When using toolbar icons, do we have to use 64x64? Overall, I think in the Long Term it is better to stay close to OS4 look, regardless wether qt Images and skins are nice or not.

alfkil i encountered a small problem in the qt sdk:

In file included from ../format_OO_oasis_/GZip.cpp:48:
/qt/mkspecs/default/qplatformdefs.h:75:22: error: sys/wait.h: No such file or directory

I just commented it out for now. But i wanted to let you know.

i just compiled this text editor:
http://Qt-Apps.org/content/show.php/O ... +Writer+odt?content=80650

When i open a file i get this in shell:
8.Bob:Coding/Projects/Tools_OpenDocument_Editor> QFSFileEngine::open: No file name specified
QObject: Cannot create children for a parent that is in a different thread.
(Parent is QTextDocument(0x34706b78), parent's thread is QThread(0x3c5ecec8), current thread is QThread(0x446ecf48)

But it seems to work allright. Something that needs to be fixed in QT?
I have seen the QFSFileEngine::open: No file name specified error in another app as well. It seems to spit it out when an app checks if any file was given as an argument.

3 more programs on OS4Depot.

1 self made and 2 ports

CutePiano :
a simple piano keyboard made during my holidays to learn Qt.

Keys are selectables by mouse or keyboard (multi-keys allowed).

As neither QSound nor Phonon are actually availables on AmigaOS Qt port, I have used AOS4 datatype sound to play sounds.

http://zzd10h.amiga-ng.org/Qt/CutePiano.jpg

QBriscola : a italian card game
Qt port requested by Samo79

fixed a freeze at exit (now it works Samir ;) )

http://zzd10h.amiga-ng.org/Qt/QBriscola.jpg

QLife : a game of life
Qt port

Just added a title to the application window

http://zzd10h.amiga-ng.org/Qt/QLife.jpg

For these 3 programs, thanks to TommySammy for the icons and tests (thank you Samo79, too) ;)
