A shortcut to Dropbox in AmigaOS

If we can get rsync ported to AmigaOS we could get a way to use dropbox today.

You need another computer/server that is always on and it needs to have dropbox installed.

Now what we could do is let rsync sync between a folder on the Amiga to the dropbox folder on the computer/server that is always on running dropbox.

If someone could get rsync ported there is also a qt gui for rsync that could get ported to ease setting up rsync.

Anyone up for the challenge of porting rsync?

Another way might be to use the official Java API: https://www.dropbox.com/developers/core/sdks/java

Haven't managed to try it myself yet, but it shouldn't take many code lines to know whether it'll work or not. If something is missing in JAmiga, I can always add it.

An other way, that I didn't still try, might be by using DropDav (https://www.dropdav.com/) services and WebDav Handler (http://aminet.net/package/comm/www/webdav-handler). It could work that way. Unfortunately, there is a limit of 150MB upload by the DropBox API.

@walkero

That version has broken SSL, use beta2 from OpenAmiga.org.

(yes, I should really update it, but I wanted to fix sub-directories first)
