SketchBlock scripting resource
Home away from home
Home away from home

I'm workng on a few new things for sketchblock, but they will likely take a while to mature, especially since it's summer I have too european tours coming up. (Germany with Walker Broad over the next weekend and a solo tour of France in August).

In the meantime I'm using SB myself and occasionally creating one scripts to do specific jobs. Rather than clutter the main distribution with these code snippets I thought I's start a "resource" on the SketchBlock site.

Just one script there to start, a script make any yellow pixels partially transparent. I hope it will grow in time, contributions are welcome.

Added a script to create sequences of text. I used it a while ago for a video title.

@broadblues

New script added to the resource:

http://www.broad.ology.org.uk/amiga/s ... pts/spreadpalette_py.html

This creates a smooth spread palette from the existing palette.

If you've bought or upgraded to Fractals 1.5 you will have found the new Repeat Palette colouring mode, this works best with smoothly graduate palettes, but creating that can by hand can be a chore so I made this script.

To use create a small 5 or 6 colour palette with the base colours you need then run the script from the shell to create a graduated 50 ot 60 colour version.
