That was fast! Don't forget to mention AOS4 in the ad, since most Pegasos' come only with a MOS reg. Otherwise you would have to subtract ~130 EUR form the offered money, or whatever an AOS4 copy costs.

Never buy fastest possible machine to sw developer ;) That would be one reason why Sam Flex could be better than Pegasos II or suggested X1000

Because hw with G4 and Altivec is need it (so optimization and all that tasty things possible). As well as need harware which 100% prove to have all working drivers, have no single problem with anything, and support all possible stuff (and 3d , and 2d, and compositing, and overlays, and sound, and networks : everything and all is good and as should).

AmigaOne XE with G4 also can be ok, but its more rare that peg2, and prove to die more offten in compare with peg2. So because of that we choice peg2. But if there will be option with AoneXE with G4/1ghz, and it will works without problem and cost 500E with os4, then why not too.

Yep, i already noted that one yesterday when briefly scan amibay, and its all seems ok imho. We can just ask him for mb + cpu + ram + radeon, for just about 450, and then buy ourselves os4 copy (which is about 100E more, but i can cover latest bits from my own) for peg2.

I just wait till amibay admin will register me there, so i will be able to wrote posts. In meantime, maybe you can just drop me his mail in pm ?
