It should be easy to find a peg2 but if no suitable seller is found contact me, i have a peg2 with 2gb ram + radeon9000 pro + os4.1 +registered morphos that i can part with. But as i have not decided yet if i want to upgrade to the X1000 or wait for the cyrus and see if it has any advantages i'm not in a hurry to sell so take a look at other sellers that are more eager to sell and see if they have resonable prices & fast shipping. If that fails i can prepare my system for shipping within a few days.

Never buy fastest possible machine to sw developer ;) That would be one reason why Sam Flex could be better than Pegasos II or suggested X1000

Contrary to popular belief, buying the slowest possible machine for the developer doesn't necessarily result in faster programs.. especially in the case of ports. I'm near sighted, but I can still read fps counters

My ports are mostly games, because that's what I'm interested in the most, but I have non-game projects too, like the AROS port of DOpus5.

Ah great, and I just sold my Pegasos2 G4 last week for 495 euros (complete with case, Radeon 9250, 1GB RAM etc). Why you haven't thought of that before Roman?

Either way, hope that you will find a Pegasos2 G4 fast.

I sold it because I have my X1000 a year now. And imagine that Pegasos2 was in the closet for over a year.

Sometime ago I was communicating with the folks behind Amigabounty with the suggestion that it should be completed replaced with something akin to Kickstarter.

Nothing really happened even though I was happy to build the site for free.

http://ignitiondeck.com/id/

Crowdfunding is very popular and the above is just one plug-in that is available for a popular CMS that can easily be taken advantage of.

If AmigaBounty didn't look like something from 1995 you would find more people outside the community more willing to donate.

@tlosm (and all)
I got mail from amibay admin, he should be able to register me today.

If Matt is ok to sold it for 450 + shiping and fees (which will be around 500?), i assume then we will only need to buy a os4.2 for peg2 (another 100$?) , and that all ?

I also already got address from BSzili, so now just wait till amibay mods do the stuff, then i will contact with Matt and sort everything.

@tommy
I didn't register on a1k.org, so when i press on link it ask for registration, but if something will going wrong with Matt, we can then check another ones.

S***t he change the value in € and add the mos license :(

The Amigaos license price 130€ for peg2 ... I know there are some guy who will Donate at the end of the mont I can do a little bit too. (It is a very hard period)

For amigaos license , if possible pay the registration and gave just the serial to BZili because the os4 for pegasos 2 ore out to stock and in the best. Way will take more then 3 weeks for come.
Probably S.Solie can help us make we buy "a digital version of os" ;)

euro no problems, we have 520E for, so 450 for mb / cpu /ram /radeon, about 50 i assume will going on for fees/shiping, then all what left + a bit more to buy os4.1 for peg2. All is ok imho.

edit: i have another 15$ donation from Frederik Yssing, which will going on to os4.1 for peg2

Nice work on getting the ball rolling on a machine!

My only concern is that the PegII machine doesn't work with PCI-based Radeon HD cards. There is a known issue with the PegII firmware that doesn't correctly intialize the internal bridge to the PCI-Express interface on the chips.

This may be an issue going forward when testing for compatibility with other setups using HD cards and for possibly supporting higher-spec games that would choke on a 92xx series card.

Would a Sam460 be a better base machine? I believe this would support both the 92xx series cards and the newer HD cards.
