I have to say guys that I am totally impressed by Huno's efforts.

There can be no excuse for not finding some games to play on your Amiga. For me HunoPPC, is the new "Made in China" king, taking over the mantle from Spotup, the guy is churning out quality game ports for the Amiga OS4 Platform at an incredible rate!

Its such a pity so many Amiga users seem to feel that we are like the Linux community and expect everything to be given to them for free

you are damn right, my friend. HunoPPC can do wonders. I am sure he could port more stuff and faster if we had Gallium3D. Let's hope we'll have it soon.

A very good thread can say, HunoPPC is one of the best developer around and he is also very prolific!

His releases are not only a quick compile but real ports with any type of optimizations and often a lot of specific Amiga implementations ..

Only minus: he doesn't frequent so mutch the international forums, so talk with him isn't always easy, but atleast he reply by mail with no problem

I m testing a Settlers clone called FreeSerf. Its playable but without any music and soundeffects. Janne is working hard to get all problems fixed but he needs help. I hope he opens up a thread here so more people can help him. Mikey_C is informed I also donated 25 euro to him so i hope more people can contribute so we can get more ports from him in the future like an updated Widelands.

BTW, Mikey you speak about donations, purchasing the DVD from ACube is a wonderful donations for HunoPPC too. I'll make sure he gets what he deserves.

Quality Huno ports :) I did buy before the 1941 and will donate or get the dvd later. Cant do much with radeonHD yet.

I bought the DVD at the Alchimie even if I'm not a gamer and will probably never use it, it's just a small amount of money to show support. I've done the same with MACE some weeks ago, and will do the same in the next weeks for Battle Squadron. IMHO it's the only way we can get much more quality productions for our platform: showing our support to the few remaining commercial developers.

just ordered mine but yikes! 25 euros to mail a dvd case to Canada is just nuts from ACube's online store! sent them an email so hopefully they can iron out that shipping calculator.
