Hello,
I've been porting Freeserf for AmigaOS 4. Freeserf is a faithful clone of the classic simulation game The Settlers.
I'm nearly finished. The game runs perfectly but I still have some small things to do before I can release it.
You can find a couple screenshots on my website:

@jap Brilliant work, cant wait to try it. Semi-off topic, I wonder if someone could get hold of the Settlers 2 code and port that over like was originally attempted by someone (name escapes me).

Settlers 2 licence was claimed to be aquired by Titan Computer (they made Papyrus Office for MOS, too). But I dont think they ever really had
@jap:
Go, go, go! I tested some rough port some months ago and it was fun (although the code wasnt really finished back then). As far as I read on FB, you use the midi sound/music? Any chance to make the mod music available?

@AmigaMark
I have a MorphOS port of
Return to the Roots AKA Settlers 2.5. If I finally get my Pega2 I'll port to to OS4 too.
This is just like television, only you can see much further.

Hm, if sdl_mixer has mikmod as usual, it shouldn't be very difficult to have the game play a mod. A game mod. ;)

@BSzili Once you receive your machine and if you can port it across that would be brilliant!

Does this port also features the famous "Demo" mode where one could let upto four AI settlers with different strength and tactics loose on each other and just watch them settle?

@Raziel Computer controlled opponents are missing from this version. It took me so long to make the Amiga port that Freeserf got updated. The new version has a main menu where you can select a mission and you can see your opponents. However, there is still no AI. I will update the Amiga port later.
