MuiOWB does not recognise "local" image tags
Just can't stay away
Just can't stay away

See User information
The following tag is not recognised when it appears in a local drawer, pointing to some image file in the same drawer.
<img src="myimage.jpg width="140" height="40">

It works well in IBrowse or Chrome on my PC

I guess i'll have to wait till next version or ?

Enough bugs reported long ago to get a bug fix out already. Two years since it was released, don't think we'll see any bug fix. Too bad, was a nice browser at the time, but the internet has moved on & mui-owb is starting to show problems. Would love to see an update, but feel it won't happen anytime soon, if at all.

What i hope to do in next year ? Well, we for sure will release dopus5, as well as i want to finish port of VPDF from morphos to aos4 , and report recent version of muiowb. At least, those apps are important enough for everyday's use. I also still working on some "big-fat" article for "hacking way" book, so hope it will be also published pretty soon. If time will permit , of course, bunch of fresh ports from os3, mos, aros, unix and win words , so some of you will cry "wtf, again ports ! where native apps?" :)

It shows its ages here too. Pages that crashes muiowb and updated pages on muiowb that looks like css looked on ibrowse many years ago. Im sitting less on the amiga.

It works fine here, unless the html file is in the root of the volume.

IE Ram disk:test.html fails and ram Disk:T/test.html works. This is true of both OWB and MUIOWB.

Simply ensure your html files are not in the root of the volume.

That page work perfectly fine here, as 95% of the existent internet page everywhere in the world, seriously i can't understand how a 2010 WebKit rendering core can be so old for browse the net today, it's not old at all.

But sure we strongly need a recent port of Odyssey because our 1.9 is not rock stable for sure and even a bit slow on big pages (recent big portals in general) not to mention the video parts ...

True, we both use an x1000, I have TW working very well & use it on a regular basis, as well as IB for the forums. I still use mui-owb every once in a while as well. Each has their strong points as well as weak. I just don't understand why you haven't at least uploaded the font cache script fix, ppl still hit that wall.

and unless you use an assign to locate the file.
Thanks for the hint.

Because if i will upload it like that, all the ppls will think "woah, new version of muiowb!" , will dl it, and will realise that its only 1 letter fix in text file, and will think "blah, what a crap ! was it worth of uploading ?".

I can of course just fix it , and ask os4depot admins to just replace file, without making any fuzz about and without putting it on toppage like it fresh upload. Probably will ask if they can do so, and if yes, then yep.

I need no excuses at all. No one pay me for that, i do all what i want and when i want. No one from you write me a mail with words "what kind of help you need" , "why prevent you to release it with that fix". But still, you write it here like i must to do anything for you, in my free time, when i want to do another things. I can only repeat: i need no excuses at all, i can just says "fuck off", and nothing changes for me :)

I am pretty sure all of us do appreciate your work very much.
I doubt djrikki meant to upset you, but some expressed regret would confirm his reputation as a nice guy

I re-upload on depot 1.9 version with that small font's config thing, and, as expected for granted, not everyone read readme where i point that its only pure-lame fix just to avoid problems for newcomers and start to think that its some real update.

@os4depot_admins
It is possible to block Helgis with all his schizophrenic comments to avoid us read it on os4depot's comments ? Maybe some sort of registration to avoid posting from anon-users ?

Yes I agree, I think the comment system is really broken on OS4Depot.net, most of the time people comment I do not know they have, because there is no notification.

Also I hate that people report bugs in comments, it kind looks like software is broken after bugs has been fixed.

Also I hate anonymous comments.

And also it be better if there was a Login system so the developers who work on software can edit/delete and manage the comments, plus I want to see notifications when people comment.

Also I hate having to wait for the upload to complete, before i can upload screen shots of that version, way can't I include screen shots when I upload my software.

+1 to everything, just orgin have no time i assume to implement all of this and most of this problems just show ups after years only. I also can add few more bits:

-- replace utilitybase on os4coding link on main page
-- make a new area for all translations, like "text/translations" or whatever, where put all of the .ct/etc files

But annonimouse comments and not ability to deal with them by the author are bad. I assume crazy helgis will continue to comment on other uploads as he do lately.

TW works better for some and less better for others. For example it can freeze my system when starting. But when it doesnt it works well. I dont remember how it was on my old A1 vs X1000 and as im on jfxs its known to give more problems then on ffs and sfs.

I use mostly owb but many pages gets updated and more heavy. For examle facebook. google+ and google play isnt usable on owb anymore. When i want to use that i go over to TW. But also there is unsure for how long as google started to say im on old webbrowser and support will stop in future.

Stuff changes, OS and its drivers changes, pages changes. Just beacause it once worked well doesnt mean all of it does today.

EDIT: Reading my previous comment it was not good described, sounds like the whole browser felt like ibrowse with no css which is wrong. I was visiting pages like google play and alike back then probably when i wrote it.
