Hyperion server is offline [Fixed]
Amigans Defender
Amigans Defender

See User information
Hyperion's server is offline. There is no estimated up time.

There appears to be some hardware issue which is being worked on.

The server is not fixed.

We are hoping it stays up while we work on the replacement server.

You can expect more downtime soon.

Seems that "soon" has just happened ...

Anyway, good to know it's being taken care of.

Best regards,

Throw that damn x86-Server hardware out and replace it by better AmigaNG-Machine

Ok, a dummy question...

If i would take 5 X CR2032 on top of eachother,
what would that give me:

5 X 3 V = 15 V

and/or

5 X batterylifetime

IIRC from school lessons.

If you stack them in series then the voltages accumulate. In parallel the voltage remains the same as one cell but the capacity accumulates.

Edit: A quick google confirms my poor memory!

Ok thanks, thats clear.

Hmm, another question...

If we would have a pci-card with 1 or more CR2032 on
the card, would that give power to the cmos?

The server hardware has now been replaced and services have been restored.

We are hoping things will return to normal again now.

Batteries on a PCI card will not help the CMOS chip on the motherboard.

The connection between the battery and CMOS has no common connections with anything going to a PCI slot.
