PPSSPP on AmigaOS 4? why noT?

Just found this wonderful emulator http://www.ppsspp.org/ ... it is a PSP emulator and using in the MacOSx sdl system... probably it is portable to AmigaOs...

Will be wonderful have the Boning Ball in the List of supported systems...

It would be awesome to see it on Amiga

While almost no additional libs is used in , it want Opengl ES 2.0, so pretty possible only omiga till gallium.

The PsP have a great library of games ...
It will gave the opportunity for have a good FIFA and PES, a last WipeOut, or see the return of "Super Stardust" on AmigaOs or play the great Sony Exlusive games on AmigaOS

You just check directory SDL and because of that think whole project on SDL ?:) Its just some SDL related functions they use, but whole project its mix of opengl/sdl and all usual things.

yes kas1 i was watching it after my last post
... the only thing that im thinking about is really boring wait this gallium/mesa after more than 1y and half after the annonce... :(
and better not open the discussion about Aeon wapor-ware Warp3dHD
and the no Aos support of the 9800pro agp cards for pegasos/xe :( :(

PPSSPP also uses C++11 features, so you couldn't compile it with GCC 4.2.x anyway.

I support the decision not to support those older cards. Better trying to get proper support for newer ones.

The 9800pro is an older card, yes it is true but for Pegasos2 and Xe will be the best video card available... and this card have really good performances 25 gb/s band witch and a very good number of polygons/s and triangles/s

Just for understand what our G4 "old" ng amigas can do with 2Gb of Ram and a Radeon 9800pro

No one will worry about 9800, that for sure. There is no resources at all to be spend on something which make no sense in compare with support of radeonhd. Just be in hope that gallium port some day will see light and will be speedy enough for usage on our not fast machines.

In other words, don't hold your hopes for 9800 full support. Even if you will post about, no one will spend good time for writing a driver in which you and maybe few others may be in interest. Just situation is to have something at last, not that anything by request can be done.

I know good Kas1e the situation, for now i continue using my 9000pro on my peggy 1266mhz and i m proud of this machine performances and stability , plus there isnt software right now that using the 9000pro possibility at 100%.
I have the 9800pro too here and tested it on my peggy with mos 3.3 ... and the card there is working real good and the driver is not 100% optimized i will check with last mos version probably will speed up more ...

About the RadeonHD yes it will be a dream have finally a 3d video driver and the h264 working , my 460ex is taking dust under my desk because of lack of this acceleration who make my machine half usable ...

For sure Wapz help too much but took much cpu and 460ex is not a big mips chip ...

In all the way "Merry Christmas" and hope next year will be the year of the return of the 3D for all AmigaOs machines.

Yet with opengles and nova is there a possibility to port it? Or is the compiler thing today still a problem?
