Maybe time to clear the closed bounties such as Timberwolf which are no longer accepting donations.

I asked few times about it without answer. While EUAE jit is still ok to have there, TW for sure not as it was finished long time ago: no more donations accepted for, and it only make mess now for anyone who come on amigans. There can be Jamiga banner instead, or Sketchblock, or anything big which in develop now.

I've removed the featured donations block/bit/part since there seems to be no one interested in keeping it updated.

How about having a donate page where all os4 contributors have a donate button? Those who wants to get donations that is. As it's like playing poirot, trying to find peoples paypal adress.

I assume that Featured Donations was somehow aligned with AmigaBounty/OpenAmiga? I am pretty sure any developer (including myself) will be quite happy to be in Featured Donations if it was free to list - I am certain that most of us have a paypal account. If space is limited just rotate developers periodically to give everyone a fair chance.

Just as amigabounty and openamiga is totally unrelated to each other so is the featured donations block unrelated to any of them.

@All

As long as no one is interested in maintaining it then no matter how many suggestions there is, nothing of it is going to get done.

@Orgin:
This forum could have a option for each user who wants to receive donations and or show what work have done or is doing.Sort of a signature with links to os4depot contributions and paypal address.This data could be rotated on the front page from time to time and each one would be responsible of its own content.

Agree. And it should be made so, that users can get picture, wich devs accept paypal payment for their work.

It is then easier track favorite programs and use paypal when something is worth of it.

Just now I dont even know, wich devs can or will be supported.

Win-win situation, if it can be made clear in forum.

How about easier implementation, just programs, devs and paypal buttons ?

I know this can be a lot of Work, but since you were speaking about effort maintaining, i suggested to make the maintaining part up for each dev.
