This just dropped in on os4depot:
http://os4depot.net/index.php?functio ... ity/workbench/eastern.lha Shows a thumbnail instead of a default icon for images. Works very well :)
There's also a 68k binary in the archive for os3 users.
Thanks to Stephan Rupprecht for this!

@nubechecorre You can't change the default options, if you start it from the wb. And I'm not quite sure what the 68k version does, if you try to start it from wb.

@widescreen users If your icons look a little 'chubby' try the IGNOREASPECT (IA) option.

@samo79 It has to be started AFTER deficons so the easiest way is to add a wait command and eastern just before the endcli in your s:startup-sequence eg. C:LoadWB Wait 5 eastern MW=96 MH=96 IA DT=c:cybershow EndCLI If you're using a classic it would be better to use 10 or 15 for the wait to allow everything to load properly.

@orgin I'm surprised that I missed this one. Usually I check the recent uploads page often enough. I'll have to try it when I get home. BTW, do you cache the thumbnails so that the next time you open the drawer, it loads faster? Most other OSes with this feature do. Hans
